Video: Fire Engulfs CRN Superyacht Monaco

A CRN superyacht has been severely damaged after a fire broke out on board.

A number of videos posted online by local news site Cyclades 24.gr shows the yacht engulfed by flames and captures a number of explosions. The yacht was reportedly stationed at the Tarsanas shipyard on the Greek island of Syros where it was undergoing refit work.


Reports also name the yacht as the 39 metre CRN yacht Monaco launched in 1977.

According to Cyclades 24.gr, the scene was attended by the coast guard, police and fire service, who worked to bring the blaze under control within an hour. It is understood an official investigation will take place.
