The 42.6-metre Custom Line motor yacht Lady Dia has run aground near Bonifacio Marina in Corsica, France. According to local reports, Lady Dia is believed to have lost control near the port entrance, resulting in her bow-first collision with a nearby rockface.
A video taken at the time of the incident shows the crew attempting to dislodge the yacht by hooking her stern to a tender, with a second tender used to inspect the damage to the bow.
The extent of damage is unknown, though Lady Dia is now safely moored in the marina according to BOATPro. No injuries have been reported.
Lady Dia was delivered by Custom Line in 2024 to a taut, sporty design by Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski.
The flagship of the Italian yard's planing line, design highlights include a secluded sunbathing area forward on the main deck, a sundeck pool and five guest cabins.
There are five other Custom Line 140 units like Lady Dia on the water, with the first, Miotu, delivered in 2022.
BOAT International will update the story as it develops.
