The 134.2-metre Lürssen superyacht Deep Blue (previously known as Project Deep Blue) has departed the yard's facilities in Bremen, Germany, for delivery to her owner. According to BOATPro, she is now en route to Poole, the UK.
A highly secretive build, her exterior was only revealed to the public at her launch in June 2025. The highly anticipated imagery showed off her brilliantly blue overhangs, sloping mast and unconventional lower-deck glasswork and five decks of amenities – including two pools (one filled by a cascading waterfall), a heli-capable bow and an expansive waterfront beach club.
Yacht-spotters have drawn similarities between Deep Blue's lines and those of Ahpo (now Lady Jorgia), with the same tapered decks on the forward part of the superstructure.
Very little is known about the mammoth build, though she is expected to have a gross tonnage of around 9,000GT. She is one of Lürssen's first projects to use the builder's new slipway, which is able to accommodate much heavier loads.
BOATPro reports 12 superyachts on order or currently under construction at Lürssen.
Other highly anticipated builds nearing delivery include the 102.4-metre hull 13785, also known as Jassj, which was launched in February, and the yard's first fuel-cell superyacht, Project Cosmos, which was spotted on sea trials late last year.
