Vancouver-based studio ER Yacht Design has unveiled a 46.6-metre yacht concept known as ER 46. Commissioned by a female client, the yacht is characterised by flowing curves and elegant proportions to evoke a "softer side", balanced with the confidence of an explorer yacht.
Comprised of steel and aluminium, the concept's exterior features long ribbons of dark glazing, extended deck lines and sweeping transitions between the hull and superstructure, all chosen to create visual continuity and bring an air of grace to her substantial proportions.
On the main deck, a welcoming open-plan saloon connects to sheltered outdoor living and dining spaces to one side, with a separate formal dining room and galley to the other.
Throughout the interior, the studio opted for a muted sage and rose colour scheme for a "feminine touch", accented by softly sculpted furniture, warm pearl tones, pale timber and tactile fabrics.
The lower deck houses five guest cabins, with crew accommodation situated forward. Aft, a proposed beach club, spa and gym bring relaxation right to the water's edge.
A private owner's deck on the uppermost deck features a private suite and sitting area with outdoor spaces boasting sea views. Elsewhere, the wheelhouse deck pairs the forward pilothouse with an intimate sky lounge, which also opens onto an aft terrace.
Key specs include a proposed displacement of approximately 475 tonnes and a target gross tonnage of 499GT. The news follows an already busy year of concept announcements from the studio, most notably the 110m "modern gentleman's yacht" Untouchable, first unveiled in August.
The studio also revealed a 40-metre concept in May, known as ER 40, which combines long-range cruising capability, contemporary comfort and an onboard style that refrains from being "overly fashionable".
