Explorer motor yacht Batai set to be launched by Inace

A few weeks after the delivery of Far Far Away, Inace is due to launch her slightly larger sister, the 38.4m explorer motor yacht Batai.

Previously known under the hull number 591, Batai is the second yacht from this series designed by Luiz de Basto. Compared to Far Far Away, the extra metres allowed for a larger aft deck, bathing platform, bridge deck and sundeck. Built in steel and aluminium, she has just left her building shed to receive her mast and to be prepared for her imminent launch.

Her interior, also designed by Luiz de Basto, accommodates 112 guests in five cabins on the lower deck: a full-beam master suite amidship and four doubles.

Batai is BV's registered and MCA compliant. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, her range will exceed 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Scheduled to be launched and to start her sea trials mid December, Batai will be delivered to her owners in early 2013.
