Feadship's superyacht Tango set to start sea trials

31 May 2011 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

Following a private launch ceremony in April, the 77.7m Tango made her first public appearance two weeks ago.

This beautiful yacht, designed by Eidsgaard Design, is the first Feadship to sport a white hull with a metallic grey and blue superstructure. The interior layout, also by Eidsgaard Design, is another departure from typical Feadships, with six guest cabins situated on the main deck and an owner's suite on a dedicated private deck above them.

On the technical side, she has four 2,320kW MTU engines which should propel her to an impressive top speed of 22 knots.

Tango is one of three Feadships scheduled for delivery this Summer - the 88m Musashi and the 81m Air are currently undergoing sea trials.
