First Hatteras 105 Raised Pilothouse yacht launched

The first hull in Hatteras’s 105 Raised Pilothouse range has hit the water for the first time.

The 31.7 metre yacht was launched on December 15 from Hatteras’s North Carolina facility and is on track to be delivered and christened in February.

Sold to a client who previously owned a Hatteras M75, the yacht will be based in Naples, Florida and cruise The Bahamas and Caribbean.

Described as boasting the “next evolution of the Hatteras style”, the 105 features a bow area redesigned for socialising and enlarged aft area. Inside, the saloon and galley are filled with natural light thanks to panoramic windows and skylights.

Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests in five cabins, comprising a main deck master suite, VIP suite, a double and two twins, A further three cabins sleep up to five crewmembers.

The first hull in the series will feature a fully custom interior.

MarineMax yacht and brokerage sales executive James Corts revealed: “Being the first hull in the series, my clients took the opportunity to select every fabric, stone, and carpet fibre for the vessel.”

He added that the owners “have been extremely hand-on in the build process.”

Power will come from a pair of 1,900hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines.
