Italian yard Advanced Yachts has released new photos of its latest 24 metre A80 sailing yacht Jikan, which was launched earlier this month.
Designed by American naval architects John Reichel and Jim Pugh, in collaboration with the Italian design studio Nauta Design, Jikan has embarked on her maiden voyage.
She will sail down the Adriatic, past Sicily and the Aeolian Islands, on course for Sardinia.
The yard described the launch as “a huge event” celebrating the “effort put in by craftsmen, architects, engineers, designers and structural engineers.”
Described as a “stylish maxi yacht”, the boat “combines top class performance with the luxury and comfort of premium design interiors”, according to the yard.
Jikan sports a sea blue hull and features a 35 metre Southern Spars mast with furling boom and carbon rigging, Harken winches and a Reckmann furler.
