Cobra Yacht has offered a first look inside the 40-metre Illusion II (ex. Reef Chief) following a major 11-month rebuild in Bodrum, Turkey.
Delivered in 1991 by Australian yard Lloyds Ships to a design by Phil Curran, she now sports an altered superstructure design, refreshed hull and brand-new hardtop courtesy of Scaro Design.
Originally measuring 36.7 metres in length, the yacht also received a 3.3-metre stern extension that expanded her guest accommodation from four cabins to six.
Accommodation is across an owner's cabin with "panoramic sea views", a master cabin, VIP cabin and three double cabins. Her interiors were redesigned by Oğuz Develi, with imagery revealing the use of light woods and a matte, monochromatic colour scheme. The yacht also features an indoor gym and a full-beam "VIP lounge" with 360-degree views and double sliding doors which lead to the aft deck relaxation area.
Outdoor amenities include an al fresco dining table on the bridge deck, ample sunbathing areas, a sundeck Jacuzzi (with sun blind) and beach club with large seating area. There is also storage for a Williams jet tender 625, two Jet Skis, two Seabobs, two paddleboards, snorkelling equipment and an assortment of inflatables.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Illusion II has a maximum speed of 16 knots.
