Day one of MYS 2026 kicks off with updates and new unveilings from Ferretti Group
Italian shipyard Ferretti Group kicked off day one of the show this year, with new CEO Stassi Anastassov outlining his vision for the seven brands: "Seven brands, one platform and one owner relationship." The CEO emphasised "operational excellence" across the group's portfolio – what he believes to be one of the key factors in being the best in yachting – and stressed the importance of tailoring their new products to how future owners want to use their yachts.
Anastassov also unveiled a new partnership with WatchIt, a collision and grounding prevention system that uses marine AI and 4D imaging radar to monitor risks in real time and deliver clear, timely alerts to captains and crew. The shipyard will be the first company to use the system on board superyachts.

Moving on to the brands, Custom Line unveiled a new flagship addition to its Navetta series, the CL Navetta 45, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The new offering in the series stands at just under 45 metres LOA and has been developed in collaboration with Filippo Salvetti Design and ACPV Architects for the exterior and interiors. Hull one is scheduled to make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2028.
CRN shared an update on its in-build projects, including the secretive 86-metre Project 144, which is scheduled to launch in the coming weeks, and the 67-metre Project 146, which has now entered the outfitting stage of construction.

Pershing and Wally spotlighted their recent deliveries and upcoming events, while Riva closed the morning by sharing new details about its 42 Metri Caravelle line, which was teased at last year's show.
Officina Italiana Design is behind the design of the model, with revealed features including a seven-cabin layout with two master cabins, a range of 2,800 nautical miles and up to seven crew. Hull one from the new model is already sold and will launch in 2027. The shipyard also shared an update on its new flagship, the Riva 70 Metri, which is sold and scheduled to launch in 2028 - though details remain minimal as the yacht progresses under an NDA.
More details to come.
