Brokerage firm Moran Yacht & Ship has announced the sale of a new 122.5-metre Lürssen superyacht, codenamed Project Elusive. Construction on the new build is already underway at the German yard's facilities in Bremen, with delivery scheduled for 2030.
Details of the yacht's designers remain private, though the brokerage shared that the yacht will feature a volume of 5,500GT, a 16.8-metre beam and a 4.4-metre draught. Accommodation will be for 22 guests in 11 cabins.
Moran Yacht & Ship will supervise construction through to delivery – led by head of new construction, Sean Moran – with the yacht built to the firm's full technical specification.
"Our job is to take an owner's vision and make sure it's realised exactly as they imagined: on schedule and on budget, that's what more than 65 new construction projects across the world's top shipyards have taught us," said Moran. "Every project is different, but our approach doesn't change: hands-on oversight, no shortcuts, and complete accountability to the owner from specification through sea trials. We're looking forward to bringing Project Elusive to life."
According to the firm, updates on the new build will be unveiled as construction progresses.
Project Elusive marks the latest new build signed by the brokerage firm at Lürssen, with previous collaborations including the 141.6-metre Nord, the 122-metre Kismet and the 115.1-metre Ahpo. In March, Moran Yacht & Ship announced the sale of another new 122.5-metre Lürssen yacht known as Project Omega, with delivery expected in 2029.
