The first hull from Majesty Yachts' 45.3-metre Majesty 145 yacht model, Suzie Q, has embarked on sea trials. The update comes following the yacht's launch in April, after which her builders hosted an exclusive preview on board at their facilities in Umm Al Quwain, the UAE.
A mid-range entry in the Gulf Craft brand's superyacht series, the Majesty 145 is bookended by the 32.3-metre Majesty 100 Terrace and the 54.4-metre Majesty 175. Cristiano Gatto Design collaborated with the yard on the exterior and interiors of the model - a longstanding collaborator with Gulf Craft and also responsible for the design of the yard's flagship, Serenity MRF.
The model has been designed around the owner's lifestyle, integrating expansive social spaces with a range of wellness amenities, including dual infinity-style pools, a fully equipped gym and dedicated wellness features such as an infrared sauna, spa area and an upper-deck gym. Accommodation is across a six-cabin layout.
“The Majesty 145 is a celebration of the entire team behind her," said Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, chairman of Gulf Craft, during the preview. "Every detail reflects the dedication of our designers, engineers, craftsmen, project managers, production teams and everyone who contributed to bringing this yacht to life. A vessel of this scale is never the work of one person. It is the result of shared commitment, discipline, experience and pride in what we build. For me, this moment is about recognising the people who continue to carry our standards forward and show what can be achieved from the UAE.”
Beyond design, the Majesty 145 integrates advanced technical solutions, including a heat recovery system that provides fuel-efficient hot water and climate control, an advanced water mist fire suppression system and a certified lithium battery storage and charging system for onboard water toys.
Erwin Bamps, chief executive officer of Gulf Craft, added: “This preview is not only a celebration of a new yacht, a brand milestone or the capabilities of a shipyard. It is also a reflection of the UAE’s growing strength as a manufacturing nation. The Majesty 145 demonstrates the resilience, ambition and technical capability that exist within our industry, and our ability to compete on the global stage alongside the world’s finest yacht builders.”
As a semi-custom model, the Majesty 145 is offered with multiple configurations across the stern, bow and upper decks, allowing owners to personalise their yacht to their individual preferences. Key specs include an 8.1-metre beam, a draught of 2.2 metres and a volume of 499GT.
According to BOATPro, Gulf Craft has six yachts on order or under construction, the largest of which is the first unit in the 49-metre Majesty 160 series.
