In September, the Turkish yard Logos Marine signed a new contract for a 26.82m motor yacht, the Logos 88 SD.

Designed by Setzer Yacht Architects, the semi-displacement motor yacht, built in steel with a composite superstructure, will ensure long, comfortable and fast cruises. 'Our goal was to challenge preconceived notions of what an all-around, go-anywhere yacht should be,' said Ward Setzer. She will be RINA classed and MCA compliant.

The interior will accommodate eight guests in four cabins comprising a full-beam master suite, a full-beam VIP, a double and a twin cabin. The crew quarters for four are aft.

Powered by twin 885hp Caterpillar C-18 engines, she will reach a top speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles.

The Logos 88 SD is scheduled for a delivery to her European owners in summer 2014.
