Due to be complete in 2022 after a five-year transformation, The OWO Residences are formed of 85 homes positioned within the impressive Grade II* listed former Old War Office building in London. The building will also feature the capital’s first Raffles hotel with 125-rooms and suites designed by Thierry Despont, a collection of nine restaurants and bars and an immersive spa, right in the heart of London.

The Old War Office was originally built in 1906 to a design by British architect William Young. Formerly the site of the original Palace of Whitehall, the building has been the base for influential political and military leaders including Winston Churchill and David Lloyd George during world-shaping events.

“At BOAT, we are delighted to be partnering with OWO Residences to host the World Superyacht Awards this September," comments BOAT International's Co-CEO Toby Moore. "It is exciting to see the near-end result of the outstanding transformation of the Old War Office building in London, and being a part of this journey is a privilege and an honour. We look forward to dedicating our resources to supporting the long-term vision and development of the OWO project," he adds.

The new residences will hold a classic Edwardian architecture adapted for modern living with each residence specifically tailored to suit its location in the building and range from duplex, lateral and penthouse residences with up to five bedrooms.

At the helm of The OWO project is the Hinduja Group, an international multi-billion turnover group founded in 1914 that has worked with the likes of Historic England and Museum of London Archaeology, and now Raffles Hotels & Resorts. The OWO Residences will be represented at the World Superyacht Awards which, during the evening of Sunday 5th September in the heart of Monaco, will see guests being welcomed at a champagne reception before moving into the Salles des Etoiles for the gala dinner and awards. The award-winning superyachts will be announced during the ceremony, as the winning owners, designers and builders take to the stage to collect their coveted Neptune statues. Celebrations will continue at the World Superyacht Awards after-party, and guests have the choice of these exclusive hotel packages.
