Italian design studio Piredda & Partners has unveiled a new 41-metre yacht model in a first-time collaboration with Termoli-based shipyard Cantieri Navali di Termoli by Italian Vessels.
Known as Nexus, the semi-custom model is said to introduce a contemporary approach to yachting through a single design language, conceived for modern owners seeking comfortable living, functional spaces and enjoyment of life at sea.
The design is characterised by bold horizontal lines, expansive angular glazing and a masculine profile that, according to the studio, delivers the volume and functionality of a larger vessel within a compact and efficient platform.
As a result, Nexus offers generous living areas, including a 104-square-metre "rooftop terrace" with a hot tub and a spacious enclosed beach club on the lower deck for direct and easy water access.
On board, the main saloon is bright and welcoming, with a commodious lounge area aft, equipped with plenty of sofa seating, and a formal dining area for eight forward.
Though customisable, the interior scheme is presented with a contemporary approach: light wood flooring is paired with neutral walls and soft furnishings and complemented by dark woods and cabinetry. Pops of colourful artwork and an abstract blue rug complete the space.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests and seven crew members, all designed around a carefully considered layout for guest and crew synergy.
A statement from the studio – founded and directed by Nicolò Piredda – read: "Rather than pursuing styling for its own sake, Nexus focuses on creating a strong yet balanced identity: progressive, purposeful and deeply connected to the evolving expectations of today’s yachting lifestyle. Technological in spirit, architectural in expression and nautical at its core, Nexus represents Piredda & Partners’ interpretation of a yacht designed for the future of ownership."
According to Piredda & Partners, the model is ready to build, with delivery available in 2029.
The studio recently celebrated the launch of the second Panorama yacht from Admiral, the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group (TISG), Silvia, for which it was responsible for the exterior design.
