Maiora unveils 50m steel and aluminium yacht model with Elie Saab interiors
Italian yard Maiora, a brand of NEXT Yacht Group, had a flurry of announcements to share at the show this afternoon, the largest of which was the unveiling of a brand new 50-metre steel and aluminium superyacht - marking the yard's official entry into the segment.
The superyacht, named Supernova 50, has been designed in collaboration with Tommaso Spadolini, responsible for the exteriors, and renowned fashion house Elie Saab, which has penned the interior design on board. The yard announced that the first unit of the five-deck yacht model is already under construction in Pisa and is scheduled for launch in H2 of 2028.

Key highlights include an interior tender storage space amidships on the main deck, which, when the two eight-metre tenders it can store are launched, expands the living area to 200 square metres with direct access to the beach club below. More details to come.
Another new design presented here in Cannes was the M|53 - the shipyard's new flagship offering in its existing M collection.
