British shipyard Princess Yachts is set to unveil a new 25.5 metre model called the Y80. The model will be a mid-level addition to its popular Y class, slotting in neatly above the smaller Y72 and Y78 models and below the Y85 and brand new Y95 flagship.
According to Princess, the yacht will offer an “innovative” layout with configurable cockpit options, an open or closed main deck configuration and a fresh take on the foredeck.
The Y80 will be powered by twin 1,800mhp engines for a top speed estimated at between 30 and 32 knots.
Accommodation will be for eight guests and the yacht will have a full range of features designed for life on the water.
Further details about the new model are expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival. The first unit is set to be unveiled in 2023.
