Fledging yacht builder Rush Yachts has revealed its first project; an ultra-green 11.9 metre superyacht day boat.

Utilising the latest green technologies, materials and processes, the Rush 39 day boat is designed by Rodriguez Yacht Design and described as the “most practically green superyacht tender/day boat available in the 12 metre range”.

Featuring a hull constructed using green materials and bio resins, the Rush 39 will feature foil technology to reduce fuel consumption.

The diesel propulsion, which comprises a pair of Volvo Penta Twin D6-340D IPS-450 engines, will feature integrated generators to save up to 25% in fuel efficiency.

The high-performance power boat will have a top speed of 40 knots, cruising speed of 30 knots and silent sailing mode of 10 hours. The batteries can be charged in two hours at 1,100 rpm. Key numbers include a one metre draft and beam of four metres.

A number of customisation options are available, including options for electric/hybrid engines and even heated seats. Owners can also choose from a range of different hull colours, including gun metal grey, spice brown and Tuscan yellow.

The Rush 39 features spacious exterior areas with two dining/coffee tables, a sun lounging area and helm station large enough to seat four. The exterior timber is sustainably sourced, while all the hardware, fixtures and fittings will be of the “highest quality”, Rush Yachts said.

Down below, the 11 square metre interior features a convertible bed/seating area, fully equipped galley and head with a walk-in shower with seating. The interior, which will be fitted with light grey and dark grey oak, is naturally lit thanks to skylights and side windows providing far reaching ocean views.
