New Sanlorenzo 65Steel superyacht sold with 2028 delivery

16 June 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Brokerage firm Arcon Yachts has announced the sale of a new Sanlorenzo 65Steel superyacht, scheduled for delivery in 2028.

According to BOATPro, construction on the 65-metre new build is already underway at the shipyard's facilities in Italy. The build will continue with Arcon Yachts’ project management acting as the owner's representative.

The new 65Steel is based on Sanlorenzo’s successful 64Steel platform, which began in 2019 with the launch of the first unit, the 64.3-metre Attila. The model stands as an evolution of the 64-metre yacht, building upon the model's design, engineering and volumes to create a "new-generation superyacht" according to the brokerage firm.

Officina Italiana Design is behind the new build's exterior, in collaboration with the shipyard, while the interiors have been entrusted to Zuccon International Project. Naval architecture will also be completed in-house at Sanlorenzo.

Details of the project remain sparse, though confirmed specs include an 11.9-metre beam, a volume of 1,300GT and accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins, in addition to a complement of 13 crew. Power will be from twin MTU engines, expected to offer a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.

"Arcon Yachts is proud to be part of this exceptional project and looks forward to following its progress through to delivery," read a statement from the brokerage firm. "Special thanks to Gabriele Stella and Ferruccio Rossi from Sanlorenzo for their cooperation throughout the deal and sincere appreciation to Zuccon International Project for the exceptional interior design of the yacht."

According to BOATPro, Sanlorenzo has a staggering 66 yachts currently on order or under construction. Last month, the Italian yard unveiled the second in-build superyacht from its flagship 74Steel line, which will become the yard's largest build to date at the time of its launch.
