Italian yard Sanlorenzo has released the first-look photos of the recently launched first hull in the SX76 series, which is currently receiving its worldwide premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The yard also announced at the event that it has sold eight models in its SX76 series.
The SX line was created in-house, with the collaboration of Luca Santella on the series, Zuccon International Project on the exterior lines and Piero Lissoni on the “special edition” interior. The 23.4 metre model is the second in the yard’s SX line and amalgamates a flybridge yacht with an explorer.
Bernardo Zuccon said the “challenge” of designing the model was to include the features and characteristics of a larger model, namely the SX88.
“Our work consisted in making the most of the space and ensuring, while reducing the size, a formal balance without losing the functional one,” he added.
The interior by Lissoni features “soft and neutral” colours and natural light, creating “a warm atmosphere with a homely feel.” The star of Lissoni’s show meanwhile is a “picturesque staircase” linking the main deck with the flybridge. Specifically designed for the SX76, the staircase is “a true sculpture” with “sinuous and continuinous lines flowing in the lower deck,” according to the yard.
Key features include a swimming platform at the stern, which extends to measure over 18 square metres. The garage meanwhile is big enough to house a four-metre tender and Jet Ski, while a hidden crane enables the easy launching and recalling of water toys.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four double cabins, with the owner’s suite at the centre of the boat and the VIP at the bow. The two remaining guest cabins are located on the starboard side. The crew cabin meanwhile is located at the stern of the owner’s cabin, with direct access to the engine room.
