The seventh unit in the Amels 60 series (Amels 6007) has been delivered and named Memories, ahead of her busy upcoming charter season. The unveiling took place during a private yacht naming ceremony held at the Dutch shipyard and was attended by the owner’s team and crew.
The 60-metre yacht departed Damen Yachting's Vlissingen facility in the Netherlands ahead of sea trials in April this year, having first emerged from the shed in February.
This hull marks the Dutch shipyard's first collaboration with British studio Harrison Eidsgaard, who are responsible for the superyacht's "beach house" interiors. Brokerage firm Moran Yacht & Ship pointed out that many of the platform improvements of the second unit, Entourage, had been carried over into this unit, including an extended sundeck.

Memories sports a bright white superstructure with black accents and a black stripe across her waterline.
The owner of Memories was introduced by Moran Yacht & Ship just six months prior to delivery. Despite his late entry into the build process, the owner made changes to the beach club, owner’s areas and sundeck – where a large sofa with a TV that drops down from the ceiling now replaces a dining table and a bar. He also adapted the bridge deck aft from a lounge area with a TV and games table into an on-deck cinema setup.
“The construction of a yacht is a remarkable journey of craftsmanship and innovation. The delivery of this vessel to its owner marks the culmination of dedicated teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and a shared passion for excellence," said Rory Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship.
He continued: "More than just a yacht, this is a vision realised. We extend our sincere gratitude to the owner and his family for their trust and collaboration throughout this process. On behalf of our entire organisation, congratulations on the delivery of this spectacular vessel. We also commend the Damen Yachting Team for their outstanding work and partnership on another successful Amels 60 Limited Editions Project.”
The living spaces on the seventh unit incorporate stainless steel, bronze, fluted details and natural oak on the floor and overheads. Designer Ben Harrison described the interiors as "undeniably contemporary, a home away from home with a sophisticated take on beach house luxury."
Other highlights include a full dive centre and accommodation for 12 guests and 12 crew, not including the captain. Images from her sea trials reveal the expansive swim platform, which will lead to the "incredible beach club".
Memories will be available for charter through Moran Yacht & Ship as she makes her way to her owner and her first main destination in Ibiza.
The news comes at a busy time for the yard and follows the launch of its fourth Amels 80 superyacht last week.
