Mid March 2012, we reported the sea trials of Imperial Princess, the new flagship of Princess Yachts. This 40 metre tri-deck motor yacht is now delivered and has started on her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean.

Designed by the yard's in-house team in collaboration with Bannenberg & Rowell, the spacious, classic interior of Imperial Princess accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, and two VIP cabins plus two twins with Pullmans on the lower deck. Of course, other interior layouts are possible, including a cinema or a gymnasium.

Powered by twin 12V MTU diesel engines, Imperial Princess will reach a top speed of 22 knots.

Imperial Princess is the largest production yacht ever launched in Britain, with one of the largest resin-infused hull ever moulded. She was built at the new facility in Plymouth, where hull #3 of the 40M series and hull #7 of the 32M series are already moving into build.
