Italian yard Tankoa Yachts has celebrated the launch of Singolare, the second yacht in its T450 series. This unit follows in the footsteps of Go, which was delivered this time last year, with both hulls touching the water for the first time at the yard's site in Genoa, Italy.
A "highly versatile" model designed by Italian studio Giorgio M. Cassetta, Singolare was customised to reflect her South American owner's lifestyle. Standout features include interiors by Brazilian architect Debora Aguiar and a hardtop with a fully enclosed veranda that transforms into a climate-controlled saloon.
Interiors are undisclosed at this stage, though visitors at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival will be able to see her "warm [and] contemporary" living spaces for the very first time. This includes a spacious master suite complete with a walk-in wardrobe "the size of a VIP cabin" and a generous en suite bathroom with steam shower, with the remaining guest accommodation found on the lower deck.
Worthy of note is the upper deck, which is "dedicated to wellness and leisure" with its sauna, gym and private cinema with forward-facing views. This is helped by a flush foredeck which in turn conceals a fully integrated, watertight tender garage.
Other highlights include the main saloon – made "bright and welcoming" by large sliding glass panels – and an elevator that connects the main deck to the sundeck.
"This launch marks another important milestone for Tankoa," said Guido Orsi, the new vice president of Tankoa Yachts. "It strengthens our position in the international markets, particularly in South America, where demand for high-end yachts is steadily increasing."
Delivery is scheduled for this summer, with Singolare's inaugural cruise planned for the Mediterranean, followed by a winter season in the Caribbean.
