The 27.5-metre Horizon motor yacht Genesis has been sold. Alex G. Clarke of Denison Yachts represented the seller and Jeremy Cresswell of Luxury Yacht Group introduced the buyer.
Delivered in 2019, the motor yacht was built in Taiwan by Horizon, who developed her naval architecture and also designed the interiors. Her exteriors were designed by Cor D. Rover and Horizon.
On board, her main saloon is light and airy, characterised by light wood flooring and white furnishings. She benefits from two sofas in the lounging area and a large dining room table in the open-plan living space. The room is flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light to the room.
Through the double doors out onto the main deck, an al fresco dining space features colourful soft furnishings placed around a large coffee table. This deck is shaded by the floor above, making it an ideal space for socialising in all weather conditions.
Accommodation on board is for eight guests across four cabins, including a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck and three en suite guest cabins on the lower deck. Crew quarters include two cabins.
The beach club features a swim platform and an opening transom which holds a twin sun bed and a bar.
Upstairs on the upper deck guests can enjoy an outdoor bar, settee and BBQ station under a hard top. The yacht for sale also features an enclosed sky lounge with a glass bridge helm.
On the foredeck, there is more lounging space to complete the exterior spaces, with a built-in sofa, coffee tables and sun pads with uninterrupted views off the front of the yacht.
Power comes from twin MTU engines and twin Onan 29KW generators, all benefitting from low hours and current service records. Genesis' maximum speed reaches 14.5 knots and she cruises at 12 knots.
Genesis was last asking $6,125,000.
