Burgess's Top Charter Yachts to see at Monaco and Cannes 2019

Excellence

One of this year’s most anticipated launches, Excellence will be making her grand debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 80 metre Abeking and Rasmussen hit the water in August and will be available to charter in the Caribbean from December. Excellence is packed with every amenity you could wish for, from her two outdoor Jacuzzis and aft deck pool to her dedicated gym and wellness spa. Spend sunny afternoons kicking back in the beach club and taking a dip in the crisp Caribbean waters, while cooler evenings call for a movie in her cinema. For day trips ashore, two custom limo tenders will get you from A to B in style. At the heart of this striking superyacht is an extraordinary triple-height glass atrium that floods the interior with light and offers unparalleled views.

Avant Garde 2

With boat show season fast approaching it's time to start booking in your appointments for Monaco and Cannes. Not looking to buy? Take a look at the top charter yachts attending the Monaco Yacht Show and Cannes Yachting Festival, available to view with Burgess.

Avant Garde 2 was built for al fresco living. A refit in 2016 gave this CRN superyacht a luxe Italian interior by Laura Pomponi, but it's her exterior decks that truly stand out. The upper deck features full-width glass doors from the sky lounge that open to the upper aft deck, creating one large indoor/outdoor space for socialising or entertaining guests. Up above, the sun deck hosts a raised Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, a BBQ, lounge and bar. A large swim platform and sea-level gym means guests can dive straight into the ocean after their morning workout, while an abundance of water toys guarantee hours of on-the-water entertainment. Avant Garde 2 can sleep up to 11 guests in five cabins with a crew of nine.

Lazy Z

Armed with an excellent charter record and a recent multi-million dollar refit, Lazy Z is in shipshape for the coming charter season. For something a little more high-octane, work your way through Lazy Z’s impressive catalogue of water toys including an inflatable rock climbing wall, water slide and waverunners (not forgetting the diving boards on each deck). After an action-packed day on the water, guests can put their feet up in the main saloon and watch as it transforms into a cinema. Accommodation is for 12 guests with a split-level master suite on the main deck complete with its own private observation lounge offering 180 degree views. Lazy Z is also available for sale.
