Ocean Independence is offering 42.2m (138’) sailing catamaran Douce France for charter in the islands of Tahiti this winter.

One of the world’s largest sailing catamarans, Douce France is a true performance luxury yacht. Her interior of mahogany and rosewood has an understated elegance and the windows on the curvaceous deckhouse provide wonderful 360-degree views for guests when relaxing in the main lounge.

Twelve guests are accommodated in six air-conditioned staterooms. Each of these is lined with pale sycamore wood and offers the option of either a queen-double or twin-bed arrangement. At 50ft square, they are also easily large enough for a convertible desk/dressing table. All have spacious en-suite shower facilities.

Douce France offers three dining areas: a spacious cockpit pleasantly shaded by the overhang of the deckhouse, a more intimate and formal lounge or a teak aft deck where guests can enjoy dining under the stars.

Water toys include two tenders, two sailing dinghies, sea kayaks, snorkelling gear, scuba diving equipment, water skis and various towables.

Douce France charters at weekly rates from €105,000 in high season and €95,000 in low season.
