New website for renting moorings

A website has been set up to connect the owners of moorings with those who wish to rent them.

The site, mooragemarket.com, is likely to be popular for securing berths at high demand boating events, such as the America’s Cup Regatta in September. The site is US-based but open to worldwide berths.

Owners, renters, and listings are subject to reviews and ratings after transactions are completed, to build a sense of trust among users. A commission charge will be split between the renter and the owner after the reservation has been made. There are no listing fees and users can post as many listings as they want.
