Refitted motor yacht Koi readies for 2014 Med charter

Sold in 2011 as the 35.05m (115’)Surprise, this McMullen & Wing motor yacht was renamed Koi and her new owner immediately commissioned a major programme of upgrades.

Many new systems have been installed and older systems upgraded including brand new anti roll zero speed stabilisers. She now has a new interior, new deck layout and a complete communications system upgrade.

Currently in the yard again, Koi will receive another new interior refit and the entertainment system will include the latest 3D televisions and an Airplay server will allow guests to download movies and music on demand. The refit will be completed by Spring 2014, ready for the Mediterranean charter season.

Four large staterooms accommodate up to nine guests including a full beam master suite on the main deck with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with double walk in shower.

Two double staterooms below have queen size beds and there is a twin cabin with a Pullman berth. All guest staterooms have en suite facilities and Onkyo home theatre systems.

The range of water toys is extensive and features a Naiad tender, three-person jet ski, two SeaBobs, water skis, kayaks, snorkelling gear, six sets of scuba diving equipment and two dive compressors.

The owner will consider charters anywhere in the Mediterranean next summer and Koi is available at a weekly rate of €75,000 through Aquacruise Yacht Charter.
