Each week, we place a spotlight on one of the world’s finest yachts for charter. This week, BOAT steps on board Amels' 76.6-metre Boadicea, one of the largest yachts available for charter with a volume of 2191GT. With five decks and accommodation for up to 18 guests, she is a great choice for large groups. In spring 2026, Boadicea will be heading to the Red Sea, where she is available for charter with a weekly rate from €725,000.

What makes Boadicea an exciting charter yacht?
Built in 1999 by Amels, Boadicea is no stranger to the charter circuit, and since 2015, when the yacht first changed hands (and was temporarily renamed Reborn), she has been carrying families in opulent comfort around the world. She was originally built for extended world cruising and consequently has a special emphasis on the large owner’s suite and crew accommodation. There was even a darkroom on board for the owner’s photographic hobby.
Boadicea was soon transformed into a charter yacht, with a broad scope of changes that were laid down by the new owners. But care was taken to retain her blissful character and design by Terence Disdale. New charter-friendly features were added in what was a complex job (carried out by Amico), such as a lift connecting the four accommodation decks, a spa/open-air water sports centre (which meant extending the hull several metres), and a larger pool on the sun deck.
In an exciting move, Boadicea will be one of the yachts cruising the Red Sea this Spring, where she will be available for charter with Northrop and Johnson. There was a great deal of refit work carried out on board in 2024, and she still stands in immaculate condition.
Interior mood
Stepping on board for the first time, it’s her size that immediately catches one’s attention. While she looks large from the quay, the main saloon of Boadicea unfolds into a vast space, filled with natural light. Styling is classical throughout with warm tones of walnut and leather, yet contemporary artwork and sculptures keep the interiors fresh.
All the soft furnishings were replaced in the 2024 refit, and now, she feels fresh and ready to take on another charter season around the Red Sea. Among her impressive amenities is a proper cinema installation. "This isn't just a projector screen in the skylounge, although she has that too; it is an actual movie theatre," says Northrop and Johnson's Nicole Terry.
On the upper deck, there is an additional saloon, which is bright and filled with light. Roche Bobois furnishings decorate the space and, with the cinema‑style projector screen, offers the perfect space for more casual movie nights. A central lift and wraparound staircase connect all interior decks, making guest movement onboard easy.
With accommodation for 18 guests, the cabins on board are impressive and split across four decks connected by the lift. The main master cabin is placed at the front of the upper deck with panoramic views across the bow, substituting what used to be an observation deck that was changed during a previous refit. Also on the upper deck is the VIP cabin, which directly adjoins the master cabin and is completed in light woods with large windows.
Interestingly, Boadicea has two master cabins, the second being on the deck below. This arrangement has been done to create a private family unit, as each of the two masters and VIP cabins are linked with a private staircase and hallway. The six guest cabins are found on the lower deck, each with queen double beds in five and one twin single.
Out on deck
With such a huge volume, it's only fitting that Boadicea should have a huge amount of deck space. The sundeck is a highlight, featuring a 6-metre Jacuzzi pool with counter‑current jets, wide sunbeds and a full bar for enjoying drinks with a view.
On the bridge deck aft, guests will find a dedicated outdoor gym area, ideal for workouts in the crisp sea air. From here, the space flows directly into the indoor beauty and wellness area, which is fully equipped for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Awakening to breakfast laid out on the main deck aft, the possibilities of activities for the day ahead are endless. Bright yellow sun loungers await on the sun deck, while Boadicea’s inflatables are laid out behind the swim platform.
Hopping to shore is no problem either, thanks to her tender collection, which includes a 13-metre Pirelli rib with an interior cabin to keep guests dry, a seven-metre Castoldi jet tender and a 6.7-metre Yachtwerft.
Toys and wellness
For those looking for something more relaxing, Boadicea has a spa overlooking the stern of the vessel with a large marble steam room and hydro bath.
Other facilities include a reformer pilates machine, a manicure bar and a massage and treatment room. With an onboard therapist available, guests can enjoy a full range of spa and beauty treatments without ever leaving the yacht.
