Each week, we take a closer look at one of the world’s finest superyachts for charter. This week, BOAT steps on board the 66-metre Oceanco motor yacht AHS, which is immaculately presented after a €20,000,000 rebuild in 2020 and a series of upgrades in 2025.
Delivered in 2005 by Dutch shipyard Oceanco under the name Dilbar, this 66-metre canoe stern yacht has undergone a series of transformative enhancements over the years. Having gone through several upgrades and enhancements, AHS (as she is now known) remains a fine charter vessel with huge decks, a unique interior arrangement and interiors by the late Alberto Pinto. Her most significant rebuild took place in 2020 with a €20,000,000, 16-month project that touched every part of the vessel. Following her high-profile sale in early 2024, AHS continues to evolve with new upgrades.
The most recent 2025 refit included a newly outfitted guest cabin on the main deck, bringing her total to seven cabins. The master and VIP cabins have been completely rebuilt, and much of the yacht’s interior and exterior furniture has been replaced, featuring updated upholstery, new artwork, and a full suite of gym equipment installed on the sundeck.

Why charter AHS?
To say that AHS is a head-turner is an understatement, as few contemporary yachts on the charter market have such a distinctive canoe stern. Her rounded canoe stern is a nod to the Golden Era of yachting and provides a unique aesthetic that turns heads in any anchorage. Not only does this help her stand out, but it's also an indicator of the yacht’s vast decks, which are strewn with dining tables, sun loungers, sofas and bars. The yacht for charter is one of the industry’s true entertainers, sleeping up to 12 guests and hosting up to 150 people quayside.

Interior mood
Stepping on board into the main saloon, guests will be greeted with the huge Pinto-dressed space, which has large cream furniture and a sit-up bar finished with light woods including Macassar, ebony and sycamore wood. As guests delve deeper into the yacht, wooden tones get darker and even more precious.
Her vast deck space is where the yacht for charter comes into her own. The space has an enormous spa pool forward, surrounded by sun pads and additional lounge space aft. The space is notably larger than most 70-metre sundecks, placing her in a league of her own for entertaining. Those who wish to keep up with the fitness regime can also do so on board thanks to AHS's stock of treadmills, rowing machines and free weights.
Dinners on board can be spent under the stars on the aft deck, which has an exterior dining table that seats up to 18 guests. An outdoor cinema completes the set-up, as well as the yacht's interior cinema.
How many people does AHS sleep?
The yacht has accommodation for up to 12 guests, housed across seven elegant cabins. The master cabin is a full-beam master suite with a lounge, double-sided drop-down television screen and adjoining private office. Those who need to keep on top of office affairs on board can tuck away in this well-appointed office with zero disturbances. The master cabin is certainly suite-like, with a walk-in wardrobe and a large marble bathroom. Additionally, there are two luxury-finished supernumerary cabins, offering extra space for guests or staff.
Additional cabins are finished in Pinto’s signature style, and two supernumerary cabins on the upper deck can house staff or security detail, taking total guest accommodation to 14 if required.
Best deck moments
Deck space is where AHS stands out. The sundeck alone is larger than many found on 70-metre yachts and has been designed with entertaining at its core. At the centre is a 19,000-litre waterfall pool, surrounded by oversized sun pads and shaded seating. The space easily converts from a relaxed daytime setup to a party venue, with capacity for up to 150 guests quayside.
The aft deck features a large dining table for 18, ideal for long lunches or dinners under the stars, while an outdoor cinema setup means evenings can be spent watching films in the open air. For those looking to be close to the water, the classic canoe stern gives direct access to the sea via the beach club – a distinctive feature that also provides a characterful backdrop for quieter moments on deck.

AHS carries an extensive selection of toys for both high-octane fun and more relaxed times on the water. The line-up includes waterslides from the sundeck, Jet Skis, Seabobs, waterskis, towables, paddleboards and a full range of inflatables and beach games. Four tenders support the action, among them a 9.7-metre Royal Denship limousine tender for smart guest transfers and an 8.3-metre Royal Denship for exploring anchorages at speed.
Wellness facilities are equally comprehensive. A dedicated gym is fitted with treadmills, rowing machines, free weights and resistance equipment, allowing guests to maintain fitness routines while cruising. The beach club offers a quieter space at the water’s edge for yoga or swimming straight from the platform. After a day in the sun, guests can retreat to the spa area or settle into the main-deck cinema for downtime.
