16 of the yachts at the 2016 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta

Pandemonium is a 25 metre sailing yacht built by Oyster and launched in 2005. She was previously named Oceana and was designed by Rob Humphreys.

She has accommodation for up to six guests, with capacity for three crew to help ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Pandemonium is from the popular Oyster 82 series, which the builder claims is "beautifully balanced on the helm with equally impressive light airs performance". The crew will be hoping this stands them in good stead for the regatta.

The 66.87 metre (with bowsprit) Baltic Yachts sailing yacht Hetairos was launched in 2011. Dykstra Naval Architects were part of an international team of experts in charge of the design. If you include her long bowsprit, Hetairos is one of the top 10 largest sailing yachts in the world.

Hetairos has a unique propulsion system and was a past finalist at the  World Superyacht Awards for sailing yachts over 40 metres.

Following delivery, Hetairos took line honours in the Transatlantic Superyacht Regatta & Maxi Yacht Cup in 2011. The average speed of 15.12 knots was impressive for this yacht, for which  carbon meets traditional design.

Ohana is a 50 metre flybridge sloop built by Fitzroy Yachts in New Zealand for a European owner.

Launched in 2012, she features naval architecture by Dubois Naval Architects and a huge beam of almost 10 metres. She has a distinctive grey and yellow hull and has been offered with a special charter rate in the Caribbean for the rest of the season.

Ohana can reach speeds of 18 knots under sail, making her a serious contender at previous Loro Piana Regattas. The crew will hope to put her speed to good use again at this year's event.
