Aston Martin has announced the first details of its Art of Living programme - a calendar of curated experiences that are sure to make 2018 a year to remember.

For over 100 years, the British luxury automaker has procured worldwide recognition for its dynamism and commitment to innovation. Through the Art of Living, the marque invites fans and customers to tap into the realms of travel, sport, cuisine and fashion with which it long been associated via a series of exclusive events. As Aston Martin CCO, Marek Reichman, explains, “Art of Living is the Aston Martin spirit. It is a beautiful mix of design, technology and style to enhance your life. It is deep in our culture, it is in everything we create for our customers."

The Art of Living offers fans a series of exclusive events

One of the highlights from this year's programme is Hokkaido On Ice, a thrilling opportunity to test Aston Martin models against the impressive backdrop of Japan’s northernmost prefecture. This will also be one of the first opportunities to get behind the wheel of the DB11 Volante. With the guidance of experts, participants will be able to push their driving skills to the limit, steering the cars across icy carpets of snow and learning how to retain control in these testing conditions. Luxury accommodation will be provided in the east of Hokkaido, where guests can unwind after the day's adventures in private open-air Onsen baths.

Further driving events will take place later in the year in Western Norway and the Scottish Highlands. However, if you’re looking to escape cold climates, Aston Martin will also be offering a cruise along the sun-kissed coastline close to Cape Town, South Africa.

If you're a racing aficionado, why not savour a trip to Barcelona to join the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing at the circuit of Catalunya. Guests will be offered behind-the-scenes access to meet the drivers and watch the cars, including the new RB14, being put through their paces before the team heads off to Melbourne, Australia, for the first F1 race of the year. Outside the track, you’ll be able to soak up the Catalan countryside, exploring the region’s finest wineries and dining at some of Barcelona’s most renowned restaurants.

This year's racing experiences naturally comprise the most glamorous race of them all - the Monaco Grand Prix - where you can witness all the drama and excitement both on and off track. Or, for those with a little more stamina, join 2017's Le Mans victors at the Chateau de Jalesnes and enjoy helicopter transfers to and from the track to witness the team defend its title in 24 hours of nail-biting action.
