Upgrade your swim shorts with Orlebar Brown and Blue Marine

Luxury swimwear brand Orlebar Brown has teamed up with marine charity the Blue Marine Foundation to launch the Trade Up 2 OB fundraising initiative.

As part of the scheme, which begins on July 6, 2016, customers are invited to trade in a pair of old swim shorts for a brand new pair of Orlebar Brown Classics for just £50. The tailored swim shorts – which are always among the top swim shorts for men each season – normally retail for £225 and come in a variety of stylish colours and prints.

Help the oceans by trading in your old shorts for a pair of new Orlebar Browns

The scheme will last for one week with 2,000 pairs of shorts available to swap. £25 from each pair will be donated directly to the Blue Marine Foundation in the hope of raising £50,000 to help support its vital work tackling the biggest threats to the world’s oceans.

“The sea, coastlines, holidays and travel are all words synonymous with Orlebar Brown and as a result Blue Marine Foundation is a charity that is very close to our hearts,” said Adam Brown, founder of Orlebar Brown. “Dedicated to creating marine reserves, establishing sustainable models of fishing and thus preserving our oceans - their work is something we are delighted to support.”

“We are thrilled to be working again with the luxury swimwear brand Orlebar Brown, who from the onset have expressed their concern and support for our oceans’ future,” added Blue Marine Foundation co-founder Chris Gorell Barnes. “Thanks to OB we have the opportunity to raise a substantial amount for ocean conservation. By trading up and wearing OB, you’ll not only look great, you’ll be helping protect our oceans.”

The Trade Up 2 OB initiative will run from July 6-13, 2016 at Orlebar Brown’s London stores in Notting Hill, Covent Garden, Canary Wharf, Wimbledon, Mayfair, Royal Exchange and South Kensington. Visit orlebarbrown.com for more information.
