History

Founded by Dutch naval architect Andre Hoek in 1986, superyacht designers Hoek Design have become one of the best known superyacht design and naval architecture practices. After graduating with a degree in naval architecture in 1980 Hoek spent a year working in the design office of C&C Yachts in Canada. A passionate sailor, he has raced everything from Dutch traditional vessels to superyachts Adele, Marie, Eleonora and Lionheart.
