The just-launched 20.7-metre Riva 68’ Diable is the latest example of the Italian yard’s sporty, elegant and exhilarating range of yachts. Scheduled to make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 followed by the Genoa Boat Show, the new Riva yacht is the brainchild of Mauro Micheli, co-founder of Officina Italiana Design, together with the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Group Engineering Department.
The design focussed on revolutionising the open concept with technological and functional innovations that elevate liveability and comfort on board – all of which is embellished by the traditional style features and iconic detailing of Riva. “Riva 68’ Diable looks like a design from the future, but is also a fantastic journey through Riva’s hallmark style and sophisticated detailing,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.
One of the standout features of this yacht is the built-in hardtop that hides the technical and technological elements from view and shelters the central areas of the yacht. Another is her sportiness, which allows her to reach a top speed of 40 knots and a sunroof that can be opened in two directions (forwards and reverse).
Inside, the layout of the lower deck features three cabins for six guests arranged around an open space containing a galley and a dinette. The master cabin is amidships, with the twin cabin with single beds to port and the VIP forward.
