The famed 105 metre Blohm+Voss motor yacht Lady Moura, listed for sale at Camper & Nicholsons International, has been sold in an in-house deal after 554 days on the market.
Sales brokers Arne Ploch and Andrew LeBuhn represented the seller while Fernando Nicholson represented the buyer. The sale of the superyacht, which was listed with an asking price of $125,000,000, is "the fastest known brokerage sale of a 100+ metre vessel in the last 10 years", the broker said. Camper & Nicholsons also claimed the deal is the largest yacht sale recorded by a brokerage house since 2019.
“Lady Moura was sold in an incredible team effort with our full, in-house legal support which played a huge role in the process,” said brokers Ploch and LeBuhn.
Lady Moura was listed for sale in 2019 for the first time in her 30 year history. Built in steel to Lloyds class by German yard Blohm + Voss with in-house naval architecture, Lady Moura was delivered to a Saudi Arabian client in 1990 and has had the same owner ever since.
Accommodation in a luxury interior designed by Luigi Sturchio is for as many as 27 guests in 13 cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and 11 further cabins. All guest cabins have state-of-the-art entertainment systems and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep 60 staff.
Serving as a private family residence, Lady Moura has been maintained to the highest standards, so much so that continuous improvements have negated the need for major refits, with her longest yard period to date being a seven-month stay at her original builders in 2017.
Her 6,395GT volume allows for an impressive number of onboard amenities. She boasts: a helipad, movie theatre / disco with DJ room, gym, owner’s study and medical suites for both owner/guests and crew. There are also two galleys aboard, one for the owner and one for the crew both equipped with the finest commercial-grade appliances, a bakery and separate owner/crew laundry facilities.
Her top speed is 22 knots and her power comes from two 6,868hp Deutz-MWM TBD510BV12 diesel engines.
The asking price of Lady Moura was $125,000,000.
