by Malcolm MacLean
The 49.9 metre motor yacht Miss Moneypenny V, listed for sale by Burgess, has seen a further price reduction of $1,495,000.
Designed by Stefano Righini, Miss Moneypenny V was built in GRP by Italian yard Overmarine to ABS class and delivered in 2012 as hull number seven of the yard's popular Mangusta 165 range. There are four adaptable double cabins for eight guests, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower. The guest layout is very versatile and includes Pullman berths for children that can increase the guest capacity to 12. In addition, there are quarters for six crew aboard this yacht for sale.
In the saloon, the seating area is one vast open space with no dividing walls between the living areas and the wheelhouse. Furnishings include a convivial gathering of sofas and armchairs, a games table and marble bar concealing a large-screen television. Four skylights and large windows bring in the views. The pilot seat has built-in controls to assist in navigation, and guests can enjoy the ride in two comfortable leather-upholstered companion seats. Just behind the helm seats is a custom-made dining table that can seat up to 12 people.
For outdoor entertainment, the main aft deck offers built-in upholstered seating, a large dining table and a retractable flatscreen television for an al fresco movie experience. More sunbathing in privacy is available on the foredeck, with comfortable built-in sun pads. Triple 4,610hp MTU diesel engines deliver speeds of up to 35 knots and she is now fitted with Seakeeper gyroscopic speed stabilisers.
Miss Moneypenny V is now asking $15,500,000 and is on display at the Miami Yacht Show.
