The 45.7 metre Richmond motor yacht Excellence, listed for sale by Alex Clarke at Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Arney Mendez of Florida Yachts International.
Excellence was built in GRP by Richmond Yachts to ABS class and MCA coded with a design by Ward Setzer and delivered in 2010 as the largest yacht from the yard. An interior by Pavlik Design accommodates 10 guests in five cabins including an on-deck master suite. Below there are two further double and two twin cabins, all in a neutral decor and all with en suite bathroom facilities.
In the main saloon, custom etched glass with hidden lighting illuminates the coffered ceiling and exquisite marble floors and custom carpeting can be found throughout. With custom sofas and armchairs, two beautifully designed cocktail tables and electronic window treatments, elegance abounds throughout the lounge. An entertainment centre includes a 55-inch Sony LCD television screen on a rise and fall mechanism and a Kaleidescape server offers on-demand video and audio throughout.
In 2013 the yacht's main saloon and sky lounge were refurbished to provide a more contemporary design. The large sundeck is a highly popular area, with loungers, a large sun pad, al fresco dining, a wet bar and Jacuzzi tub.
Powered by twin MTU 2,000hp diesel engines with a 13,000 gallon fuel capacity she cruises comfortably at 14 knots while providing an extended range of 3,500 nautical miles. She also features a touch and go helicopter pad and zero speed stabilisers.
Excellence was asking $13,450,000.
