The 30-metre Nautor Swan sailing yacht L'Hippocampe has been sold in a deal between Michael Bach, who represented the buyer, with thanks to judel/vrolijk & co and Sean McCarter of Northrop & Johnson, who jointly represented the seller.
Delivered in 2008 and built in Finland by Nautor Swan, the yacht is a member of Nautor Swan's 100 raised saloon model and has been well maintained by her first and only captain. Her exterior design is the work of Germàn Frers, while her interiors are owed to Nautor Swan.
The sailing yacht sleeps eight guests across four cabins, including two spacious staterooms, both equipped with en suites, and a twin that can be converted into a double. The port forward stateroom offers an upper and lower bed. The yacht is run by a crew of four who are accommodated in two cabins.
The main saloon is surrounded by large windows that provide panoramic views and natural light. The forward area of the saloon is raised to provide more light. It is an ideal space for entertaining as a dining table is found to starboard and a sofa and coffee table port side for casual entertainment.
All the yacht's interior spaces are built for practicality as well as comfort, featuring the striking teak joinery that the Nautor Swans are famous for.
On deck, there is a seating area found in the middle of the deck, while aft of the saloon is protected by a fixed Bimini that allows for al fresco dining in all weather conditions. The aft transom garage door doubles as a terrace with easy access to the water.
The yacht for sale's Cummins engine allows for a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots, reaching a range of 1,300 nautical miles.
L'Hippocampe was last asking €3,950,000.
