The 39.6-metre Westport motor yacht Avalina has been sold with Jeff Shaffer of Superyacht Sales and Charter representing the seller and Chris Daves of Denison Yachting introducing the buyer.

Built in 2003 in GRP by the US yard, the semi-displacement Westport 130 sports a clean profile designed in-house, with naval architecture by William Garden.

Avalina was asking $7,995,000

The broker pointed out that she has been meticulously maintained, with recent upgrades including teak deck sanding, a full exterior wax, new galley equipment, a water filtration system, MTU engine service and stabiliser service. She also received a full exterior repaint and engine overhaul in 2019, a broader refit in 2020 and generator rebuilds in 2023.

The interior has been finished in cherry wood throughout, and includes accommodation for 10 guests across five cabins. There is a main deck master suite with a queen-sized bed and Jacuzzi bathtub, plus two doubles and two twins on the lower deck, with separate quarters for a crew of seven.

Avalina has a large main deck saloon with a separate formal dining area, plus a skylounge above with a games table and a sit-up bar. Outdoor spaces are generous, including the aft deck that has room for a circular table, settee, wet bar and deckchairs. Up on the sundeck, a Jacuzzi and sunpads offer further space for relaxation.

Powered by a pair of 2,735hp MTU engines, the 298GT yacht has a top speed of 24 knots and cruises at 13 knots.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Avalina was last asking $7,995,000.
