Allseas expedition yacht Heaven’s Gate sold

The 28.04 metre Allseas motor yacht Heaven’s Gate, listed for sale by Roy Sea at IYC, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in steel and aluminium by US yard AllSeas to a design by Tim Alls, Heaven’s Gate was delivered in 2010 as an ABS-classed world-girdling explorer yacht. Belying her rugged exterior, an interior in fine woods and marbles accommodates 10 guests in five cabins laid out as a master suite, two doubles and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres and full en suite facilities while the crew quarters sleep four staff aboard this yacht for sale.

Heaven’s Gate was asking $4,600,000.

The main deck saloon is located aft of amidships, complete with a leather couch and matching ottoman, two occasional chairs, end tables, and an elegant circular dining table. The entertainment centre includes a 40-inch flatscreen television set and a full audio/video system. Forward is a ‘country kitchen’ style galley with a dinette offering casual snacks throughout the day.

Outside, spaces include three decks and a hard topped flybridge, which is a particular highlight with its Jacuzzi, wet bar, relaxed seating and additional helm station. The aft deck is perfect for al fresco dining, with a dining table for eight, electric barbecue and beverage cooler.

Heaven’s Gate has a fishing boat deep water anchoring system and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles, very unusual for a yacht this size. She has cruised the east and west coasts of the USA, transiting the Panama Canal, and has proven extremely seaworthy in every bad weather situation encountered. Twin 600hp Cummins KTA19-M3 diesel engines power her to a cruising speed of 10 knots topping out at 12 knots.

Heaven’s Gate was asking $4,600,000.
