The 33.5 metre motor yacht Sophye, listed for sale by Allied Marine, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in GRP by Spanish yard Astondoa, Sophye was delivered in 2016 as the first model in the yard’s Century 110 GLX series. An interior by Cristiano Gatto, featuring exotic coffee-stained and textured oak, complemented by glass and polished stainless steel, accommodates 10 guests in five cabins. These comprise a full beam master suite on the main deck plus two doubles and two twins below deck. Apart from the usual television screens and entertainment centres, a thoughtful touch is that each cabin is fitted with a fridge, enabling guests to enjoy a drink or light snack at any hour.
The saloon has panelling in a clear oak wood finish and features a bar and a full entertainment system including a 55-inch LCD flatscreen television set, a Sony home cinema and a Bose stereo surround sound system. Comfortable seating is on two three-seater settees to port and starboard plus armchairs and coffee tables.
Outdoor areas are expansive and feature several areas for al fresco entertaining and dining including a vast flybridge, sun deck and an aft deck with comfortable seating for eight guests.
On the flybridge an electric roof can be opened over the covered forward part when the weather is good. If preferred the roof can be closed to provide a glass walled, air-conditioned sky lounge. This versatile space also features a bar, barbecue grill and al fresco dining for guest entertainment.
Twin 2,030hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 20 knots topping out at 24 knots and she is fitted with Side-Power thrusters and stabilisers.
Sophye was asking $7,500,000.
