Baglietto's classic 48.9-metre motor yacht Grand Cru has joined the brokerage market for the first time since her 1995 delivery. She is listed for sale with Candy Li of Fraser.
Constructed in steel and aluminium to a design by Jon Bannenberg and Falcone & Mantero, Grand Cru was launched in 1995 as the largest Baglietto in Asia - a title she has held until this year. She has had only one owner since new and underwent a "complete, high-standard interior refit" in 2018.
Seven cabins accommodate up to 14 guests on board the yacht for sale, with each cabin offering "a unique atmosphere and personality", according to her broker. A spacious, full-beam master suite, with a remarkable marble en suite bathroom and sofa seating, lies forward of the main deck, nearby to a VIP suite with its own private desk space and en suite, and another twin cabin with en suite.
The remaining cabins are situated on the lower deck, comprising two double cabins and one twin cabin, and the upper deck, where there is an additional twin cabin. To aft of the lower deck, there is an additional double cabin for extra staff or additional guests, if required. Meanwhile, a crew of seven are accommodated across a three-cabin layout.
In terms of living spaces, Grand Cru is host to an extravagant open-plan main saloon adorned in curvaceous furnishings and decor. Upon entry from the aft deck (which is fitted with U-shaped sofa seating), guests are welcomed by matching curved sofas to both port and starboard, illuminated by a gold sculptural light fitting above.
Custom cabinetry separates the lounge area from the formal dining space, fitted with a circular dining table seating 10 and a sit-up bar, while a convertible buffet area lies slightly forward of the space.
Heading upstairs, the upper deck is fitted with a Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads to aft; an alfresco dining table and bar, sheltered by the overhang of the deck above; and an equally as spacious upper deck saloon with a large television and a professional sound system perfect for karaoke. The skydeck above is free from fittings and doubles as a dance floor or observatory. Closer to the water, a wide swim platform to aft offers easy access to the tenders or water toys.
The 339GT motor yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar engines providing a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. Key specs include a beam of 8.9 metres and a 4.2-metre draft.
Grand Cru is asking $6,800,000.
