Baltic Yachts' 43.3-metre sailing yacht Canova has been newly listed for sale with Simon Goldsworthy of Edmiston. She joins the market for the first time since her 2019 launch.
Famed for her cutting-edge technology, clever onboard layout and easy sailing nature, Canova was designed as a "game-changing" bluewater cruiser for a seasoned sailor with "more than four decades of experience". She was constructed in carbon fibre to a design by Micheletti+Partners, with naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, and is packed with an array of innovative features on board, including a diesel-electric propulsion system and a Dynamic Stability System (DSS) foil, previously only seen on smaller yachts.

She also won the "Best Naval Architecture – Sailing Yachts" at the 2020 Design and Innovation Awards.

There is further accommodation aft for eight crew members across four double cabins – another area admired by judges for placing crew at the "epicentre of the yacht’s sailing and mechanical aspects".
Canova's main saloon offers a large guest space with panoramic views and a seamless connection to the cockpit, which is fitted with a shaded al fresco area and several sofas.
The colour palette on board is "tasteful", with nods to traditional sailing history combined with clever, modern features. The broker highlighted the "hidden" treadmill in the owner's suite, which rises up from beneath the floor.
The 249GT sailing yacht is equipped with a seven-metre HTM tender with a top speed of 45 knots and a 4.6-metre AerMarine crew RIB, both of which are stored in two under-deck tender garages with in-garage fuel bunkering, in addition to a diving compressor and equipment.
According to her broker, Canova is offered in turnkey condition and capable of global circumnavigation, "ready to take a new owner wherever they want to go".
A single 563hp Danfoss engine and fully diesel-electric propulsion powers the yacht for sale to a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 2,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. Key specs include a nine-metre beam and a 3.8-metre draft.
Canova is asking €32,900,000, currently located in Scandinavia.
