The 30.48 metre motor yacht Carpe Diem, listed for sale by Bob Cury at RJC Yacht Sales, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Steve Elario at Northrop & Johnson.
Built in aluminium by US yard Broward and delivered in 1992, Carpe Diem has been the subject of many refits, most recently in 2017/2018 when she received new interiors, new flooring and upgraded audio/visual equipment. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite with a 42-inch LCD television screen, a VIP suite and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
The main saloon comes with a U-shaped cream linen settee, black lacquer coffee table and an entertainment centre including a large screen LCD television set – all new in 2017. Forward is a formal dining area with six upholstered chairs. As is usually the case with Broward yachts, there is a country kitchen style galley incorporating a dinette for casual snacks through the day.
The aft deck is perfect for al fresco dining, offering wicker bench seating, a table, wet bar and ice maker while up on the flybridge is a bench helm station, wrap-around seating and storage cabinets. Twin 1,050hp Detroit Diesel engines enable a cruising speed of 15 knots topping out at 18 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Carpe Diem was asking $795,000.
