Burger sells Mystere Shadow

16 July 2009 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

I call Ron Tedeschi at Burger Yacht Sales about the recent sale of Shadow Marine' s 50m Mystere Shadow and he confirms that he acted for the buyer in the deal, working with Shadow Marine's in-house broker Mike Shealy. Originally built by the USA's Candies Shipbuilders in 1981 as an offshore service vessel,  she was converted into a superyacht support vessel in 2006 by Shadow Marine.  Her 10 knot cruising speed gives her a range of 3,800 nautical miles and she has a dedicated heli-deck.

On the lower deck there's an open area suitable for conversion into four luxury staterooms or a spa, gymnasium, hair salon, hospital, etc at the buyer's choice. Scheduled to leave Florida for her new home port of Barcelona in the near future, Mystere Shadow was asking $6.9 million.
