The 31.55 metre Cheoy Lee motor yacht Aries has been sold with both buyer and seller represented by Lon McCloskey of Fraser.

She was built in GRP by Chinese yard Cheoy Lee to ABS class and delivered in 1989 as one of the yard’s Bravo 103 series with many upgrades and refits since. Her interior in exotic woods by Melody Savio accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, two VIP suites and a twin, all with entertainment centres and en-suite shower facilities. She also sleeps three crewmembers in two cabins.

Aries was asking $875,000

The full-beam main saloon has its main seating area aft to port with a semicircular couch and two occasional chairs around an oval glass coffee table facing an entertainment centre, including a large screen television mounted on a rise-and-fall mechanism. Forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests and all window blinds are in natural bamboo stained to match the interior woodwork. Further forward still, the galley has an L-shaped dinette for relaxed breakfasts and casual snacks.

The aft deck has all the amenities for al fresco enjoyment, including built-in upholstered bench seating, four wicker armchairs, a full wet bar and ice maker, and a Jenn-Aire electric barbecue grill. Up on the flybridge is more space for outdoor relaxation, offering an L-shaped couch with table, sun loungers, hot tub, fridge, ice maker, barbecue grill and sink. Twin 1,800hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 16 knots and a range of 3,400 nautical miles.

Aries was asking $875,000.
