The 30.8 metre classic motor yacht Calypso, listed for sale by Barclay Tuck Yachts, has been sold with Charles Blickle at Denison Yacht Sales introducing the buyer.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects, Calypso was delivered in 1971 and last refitted in 2008. A traditional-style interior in high gloss varnished teak accommodates six guests in three cabins consisting of a full beam master suite and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities, while there are also quarters for four crew.

The saloon has a timeless air to it and offers guests large windows running the entire length of the room to give panoramic views. Separated from the saloon by the galley, the dining room has seating for eight guests along with cabinets storing glass, china and cutlery.

The aft deck is covered overhead and protected from the weather by glass windows port and starboard and by drop down Isinglass curtains aft. Here is a fine place to relax with its teak deck, chairs, solid teak table and ample seating.

The flybridge features custom seating aft as well as mounts for the Nautica RIB Tender. There is full instrumentation at the helm position and further comfortable seating for eight guests under the Bimini top. Twin 460hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots.

The asking price of Calypso has been withheld.
