The second 40-metre hull from Columbus Yachts' Sport Hybrid series, Next, has been listed for sale with Maël Fiolet of Camper & Nicholsons.
Built in Italy by the Palumbo Group brand, Next was delivered in 2015, unveiling her sporty, all-aluminium Hydro Tec exterior and bright and contemporary Hot Lab interior (the former also responsible for her naval architecture), which won her a Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards the following year. Next's last refit works were completed in 2025, including the completion of her 10-year RINA class survey.
Next's interiors prioritise natural light and comfort, adorned with light woods, marbles, polished stainless steel and plush carpets over wooden floors. The main saloon features both a lounge and dining area, with sliding doors that open to the side decks and drop-down balconies. Above, the upper saloon offers more intimate lounging, designed to maximise the al fresco area to aft.
Accommodation on board is for up to 11 guests in a five-cabin layout, including a main-deck, full-beam master suite, complete with a private office, dressing room and an en suite featuring a double shower, bathtub and his-and-hers marble sinks.
Two double cabins and two twin cabins, one of which has a Pullman berth, can be found on the lower deck. The two cabins aft can convert into a full-beam VIP suite with dual en suites if required, thanks to a dividing wall. Meanwhile, further quarters sleep a crew of seven in four cabins.
Heading outside, a built-in sofa on the main deck aft can be arranged for dining or lounging, with an equally as flexible space above on the upper deck aft. Here, there is an al fresco dining table, a full bar and sun loungers, all benefitting from shade by overlapping awnings.
Out front, the foredeck is host to a mosaic-tiled Jacuzzi with panoramic views and space for sunpads or loose furniture. For those seeking a fresh water experience, the fold-down transom at the stern reveals a beach club with a bar, shower and built-in steps which descend into the sea. A side-launching tender garage provides discreet access to tenders and toys.
Powered by twin 1920hp MTU diesel engines, the semi-displacement 398GT yacht for sale offers a 20-knot maximum speed and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Key specs include an 8.2-metre beam and a draft of 2.3 metres.
Next is asking €11,500,000, currently lying in Cannes, France.
