Just to prove this column's global reach, Alan Hagg at Executive Marine in Australia tells me that he has two Tecnomar motor yachts for sale, a Velvet 27m and a 36m open sports yacht.
The first, a 27m superyacht called Double Shot, was built in 2007 and accommodates six guests in three cabins. With a cruising speed of 35 knots, she's asking €2.95 million.
The 36m superyacht is unnamed and was delivered in 2009. With five cabins for 10 guests, she has only 198 hours on her twin 3140hp MTU engines and is asking €5.75 million.
Alan concludes by saying that, as an added bonus, the builder will provide 12 month's warranty on each yacht in whichever country she's sold to.
